I was so excited about this and really wanted to LOVE it, there were so many good reviews. However within about a month of using this I started to notice a dark discoloration around the edge of my sponge (edges of usage area on the round side). Thinking it was just dirty I tried washing it out. That didn't work. No matter how much I washed the sponge the dark ring just gets worse. The more I use it, the worse it gets. I have cleaned it so many times and it doesn't go away. I use mild facial cleansing soap and warm water. The use and care for this is the same as other sponges I have had and this has NEVER happened before! I wish I could share a photo. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm so sad!

Nikkia Joy sponges are the ONLY sponges I will use! I used a beauty blender one day cause my Nikkia ones were dirty and when I finished my base I was so unhappy with it, I washed my Nikkia sponge, washed my face and started over.!
